Modesta BC-X
BC-X is Modesta’s middle option for the protection of your vehicle. Placed between BC-08 and other coatings in our range, it offers an excellent costs to performance ratio of the whole line. BC-X will improve the shine, gloss and overall look of your vehicle on the painted parts and refresh and protect plastic parts as well. Its exceptional hydrophobic water behaviour will help to keep your vehicle clean for weeks with minimal maintenance requirements.

BC-X will more than likely be the choice for a majority of users. Released at PlusCon in Tokyo in March 2023, the latest coating from Modesta is VOC and solvent-free, paint and plastics are protected. Priced alongside what dealerships are offering at showrooms it is a coating that has a silky look, light refracts differently depending on the angle of the light hitting the paintwork. Expect 4-6 years of durability with a mandatory Infrared curing process.
The water contact angle is somewhat similar to BC-05, allowing easy and fuss-free cleaning and maintaining exterior surfaces including plastics.
With less maintenance than the other coatings, this is better suited to daily-driven vehicles that are washed less frequently.

BC-X has an adaptive “silky” like shine to painted surfaces. Angles are accentuated whereas grooves are flowier. external plastics are also protected with BC-X.
